Dr. Hartmann has entitled this series on the book of 1 Thessalonians “Living a Blameless Life”. The title indicates the thrust of this series of messages and the great themes of the book are drawn out and explored. The Christians that Paul’s addressed in 1 Thessalonians were living with an apocalyptic sense of urgency that Jesus may return at any moment. For some this created confusion, some distress, and others a sense of futility and laziness. Given the current sense of expectation among many believers today who see the imminent return of Jesus a study of this highly relevant book offers compelling instruction on how to live a blameless life.
