God has a vision for his people to be a fruit bearing people that have influence upon the face of the earth. Scripture speaks of this and a collective dimension i.e. all of God’s people working together to manifest his glory on the earth. Fruit bearing entails good works, and answers to prayer. The good works must be done with the right purpose. Fruitfulness entails character. People are to see good works done for the right reason, and it will bring glory to God. This requires abiding in Christ and recognizing the Source of fruitfulness is God himself. Unfruitfulness brings judgment. Fruitfulness results in purging, that produces even more fruitfulness.
