Dr. John Hartmann

Dr. Hartmann opens with a passage from Romans 6:1-11. A Christians ability to walk in newness of life described in Roman 6 is explored. The necessity of divine revelation is established as a prerequisite for walking in newness of life. Hindrances to that revelation are explored by an examination of Romans 1. God’s legal case in relation to humanity establishes that God has given an inexcusable revelation of His unqualified excellencies to every human being through creation which are evident all humankind. Humankind’s rejection of that knowledge and its effects upon the human heart and understanding is explored. Authentic saving faith described in James 2 allows God to impart His divine nature into the Christian. This empowers the believer to enact countermanding actions to defeat the darkening effects of the rejection of God’s revelation upon the human heart.
